STATEMENT
"In my pictures I look to express emotion, sensation, and the intangible through the capture of uninterrupted scenes. I explore a variety of themes and often capture several scenes along a similar concept. Through photography, and using my music background as a fundamental springboard, I look for meaningful pathways of representation. Art is everywhere and everything. I see extraordinary art in the ordinary world. Waiting for inspiration is useless; creativity is a muscle that must have exercise and activity." Fall 2004...Current Statement: "I just want to take pictures."
That being said, my work is accessible on many levels and is suitable for restaurants, bars, art galleries, coffee shops, lobbies, banks, and doctor offices. Art appreciators also enjoy displaying my work in their homes and offices.
My work has been displayed by businesses throughout Oak Park, Forest Park, and Chicago, including Longinotti Chiropractic, The Buzz Cafe, JazzIt Cafe, and the Forest Park National Bank as well as homes in New York, Illinois, and Oklahoma.
